Vanshika Bhatnagar
Vanshika Bhatnagar is back! After making a bold debut on the Toowoomba Fashion Festival 2024 runway, this innovative emerging designer is set to return in 2025 with a collection that defies convention and champions individuality. With a strong focus on upcycling, sustainability, and alternative fashion, Vanshika’s designs challenge the norm, transforming everyday garments into statement pieces that reflect bold self-expression.
A Collection That Redefines Streetwear
Vanshika’s latest collection is for fashion lovers who crave one-of-a-kind pieces over fast-fashion basics. This year, she is set to push creative boundaries by repurposing old jeans, t-shirts, and deadstock fabrics, breathing new life into pre-loved materials. Customisable lace-ups, adjustable straps, and unconventional embellishments such as recycled patches, eyelets, and safety pins will add an edgy, cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic to each design.
Taking cues from alternative fashion and cyberpunk culture, Vanshika’s pieces allow wearers to adjust and style their garments to fit their personal aesthetic. Each item is designed to be versatile, unique, and thought-provoking—reshaping the way we view streetwear.
A Rising Star in Fashion
Vanshika’s love for fashion began at the age of five, with a passion for drawing and sewing that set the foundation for her career. Struggling to find clothes that resonated with her personal style, she took matters into her own hands—designing and creating pieces that truly reflected her identity.
Since her debut at Toowoomba Fashion Festival 2024, Vanshika has been on a meteoric rise. She completed her Bachelor of Fashion Design at RMIT and competed in Rise to the Runway, where she earned runner-up in the Reinvented Streetwear category. Her journey has also included various collaborations and freelance projects, all of which have strengthened her signature aesthetic and design skills.
With her unique vision and commitment to sustainable fashion, Vanshika Bhatnagar is undoubtedly one to watch. Her return to Toowoomba Fashion Festival 2025 will showcase her evolution as a designer and her ability to redefine modern streetwear with creativity and consciousness.
